Death

Why has mankind always tried more or less successfully to manipulate with the natural course of disease and death?

The right to live and survive at all cost, has been forced onto us from everywhere in society as something natural and taken for granted. We never stop to think, even for one moment in our obsession to dominate everything, is this really how it was meant to be?

In AD 1333 a deadly epidemic started to spread from the orient. The plague, it reached Italy and the rest of Europe in approx. 1350. In a population of 75 million over 25 million died, and rightfully so! The church for once made a good point in maybe realizing the true purpose of a plague: a punishment for the "sinful humans". I for one don't give 2 shits for what the church has said so far, but as much as I hate to admit it they where right. But not in any religious aspect! I was thinking of it more as having a cleansing effect.( I will write later on about the role of the church and all the harm and disaster it has caused over the centuries)

Now why am I saying this? Well it goes directly to the point I am making, showing how egotistical and manipulative we are when it comes to death and disease.

In prehistoric times one of the most essential, (now almost forgotten),symbols was the spiral. It symbolizes the beginning and the end a cycle to remain unbroken and untouched, even involving life and death. For me it is a matter of logic and creed. My way of thinking on this is probably so different from yours, that there is hardly any point in debating it. (A small advice is to drop the lower half of that link and go for the first 3rd of it. The rest is stupid New Age hoo haa that I disagree strongly with!)

The true efforts in trying to fool death set off in the 17th century with the "progress" of medicine and interventions of more serious nature, this caused indirectly a rapid population growth. The unbalancing of the scales between natural course of events and, human strife towards survival at ANY cost went beyond control.

Unlike many scientists I disagree with the fact that genocide is a modern idea. Our bloodlust and inherited sadistic urges are something we are forced to face whether we like the idea or not. The romans filled their arenas for people to enjoy live murder and mayhem. We cannot disregard what has taken place in history. Nononono!!! I am not talking about the blessing of the holocaust which, (if true) didn't take place a moment too soon, a pity the idea didn't spread. I strongly oppose the fact that the Jews still use this German debacle to legitimate their right to the soulcorner of suffering throughout history. There where also a lot of other people who didn't fit in the Arian ideology who died in the camps; the intelligentsia, communists, homosexuals, gypsies and so forth. Noone ever mentions these people, perhaps because suffering is valued on the basis on the quantity of Jews compared to the rest that died. If we are to condemn genocide then let us also remember those others. Oh come on! Our so called democracies has condoned genocide even in modern times. Do I need to make examples? No, I didn't' think so. You other idiots getting your blood pressure up now can fuck off, reality bites! ( I would however gladly give you some history lessons if you can handle it!)

The hypocrisy of the majority is stunning! What is the difference between a state that takes life, a war or an individual?

JUSTIFICATION....Well when the investigators hunted Ted Bundy they wanted to kill him personally, for being a vicious murderer. These same people would gladly go out the next day and kill as many as they could if their government demanded it. Sooo taking lives is OK when society justifies it, but individually taken decisions are being judged entirely on the values most share. America is a horrible example of a legal system out of hand. the freedom given in the constitution let's their citizens do whatever they like if they by chance end up in front of a favourable jury. or sometimes even ending up freed because the investigators fucked up with the evidence. I have concluded that the American legalsystem is a colossus on mud feet.

The examples of justice balancing scales swinging wildly either way are numerous. As a formed member of the AMD, ( Aktionsgruppen mot dödsstaff) this is Amnesty internationals actiongroup against capital punishment, and as a present "member" of misanthropes international, I could write 20 pages with the pro's and con's on deathpenalty and justifaction + adding the hipocricy of mankind. I must stress that my own country Sweden is an example of too much leniancy on crime fighting. On average you are out in 3 years for commiting murder.

Get this: Science and medicine is an abomination! Nature is constanly making new diseases and deadly plagues compensation the progress of science and medicine, There is a reason for this; keeping a overpopulated planet in check. Why is not the world swamped with animals but just people? It is all in our genes, we simply refuse to accept the fact that disease exist for the purpose of exterminating the weak. I am sorry, I did not invent this neither did Hitler ( because all you idiots now think I am a Nazi, shit the way the world is today why not!) This is natures law and we have to respect that, yes it also applies to me. I am refusing resuscitation and any medical intervention if something happens to me. I have come to terms with the fact that if I am to die, that's it. If I cannot live by my convictions then all this writing is worthless semantics.

The way things look today I can only hope that all this madness will end in 2012 as predicted by many, especially the ancient, and it takesno religious fanatic to tell you this. I am a misanthrope and I have come to hate people for what mankind has become.

These statements above are not meant to change anything, nor do I live my life frustrated over things I cannot influence. I am at this point just sitting back smiling at the whole thing. Observing.
